I'm going to London soon to look for a job and v cheap accommodation - I was self employed and so haven't got any of the job experience stuff that they blather on about on CV sites - I hate all this CV stuff - assuming that upon entering London I won't have a computer, room, etc, what's the quickest, best way to get a stream of income? Ideally I'd like to know about places to go, people to see in or around Southgate, but anywhere in N London is probably OK. I'm not fussy about what I'm doing or how crappy my first job there is (nothing illegal) but I have 9 GCSEs, mostly As, plus 3 A'levels, one of them is an A grade in maths. Eager to work and need to organise something pretty quick - any help appreciated! Cheers

  1. try ASDA in Southgate London, or look in the LOOT for accommodation and jobs.  I used to live in a sharehouse there (with other backpackers), I paid £80 a week and shared the kitchen and bathroom, and lived down the road from ASDA.  Ive got the contact details if you are interested, let me know.
