Jobs on the ocean?

Question

i want to work on or with the ocean(in florida)

what can i do that is like that AND well paying. i want to be able to afford to buy a boat and their not cheap.

any suggestions?

I don't know if the oil rigs from the big oil companies still are on the ocean but I think they might be .  I knew some guys that  made a lot of money in a short period of time doing that.  You would actually be on the rig in the ocean and work very hard but it isn't all that bad.  Or you could get a job doing pretty much anything on one of the many cruise ships but i think your salary is pretty much regulated by unions and the pay isn't that great.  Good experience though.  Good luck.
