Anyone know what places hire 14 year olds to work. :]

I would call your local unemployment office.  Ask them if they know of any employers who hire 14 yrs olds.

Not to mention ask them what legal rights you have being a minor.

fastfood or grocery stores. maybe even babysitting

If your 14 look around your local town for chip shops , small clothes shops, cafe's , some take aways...

I am sure some may allow a job for you. You won't be able to get a vey good job though if your 14.

parents and neighbors - babysit, mow lawns, bring recycling material to the local center, etc.

It depends on what your goals are. I once was also  a teenager...I decided I wanted a "real grown-up" job, not bagging groceries. So I decided I would work for free at a law firm untill I gained experience. The law firm ended up paying me, and the following summer(i was 15) I made $3,500. Work hard, and don't make money your main goal. Enjoy your experience. Call up random Law Firms, investment firms, hospitals, businesses, etc....If you have any questions just email me..
