Jobs that a 13 or 14 year old could do at the race track?

hey. i am 13 years old and was wondering if it would be legal for me to work at the race track to muck stalls, water, feed, exc. what about when i turn 14? are there any other jobs that i could do there? i live really close to a race track and would love to work there. i am good with horses. thanks!!! : )

Unfortunately for you the legal age to work at the race track is 16.   Because everyone who works at the track must be able to obtain a track license no matter what job they work and no race track in the US will issue a track license to anyone under the age of 16.  If you want to work in a similar environment perhaps you could check into finding a nearby training farm where you don't have to be licensed there.  If the training farm won't hire you maybe you could volunteer until you become of age to work at the race track.

No legal jobs until your 16. But you could find a trainer who would let to learn a few things till your 16. Don't ask for money, be glad he is helping you out.

it depends.......It depends on if the owner wants you to.......i mean it is not illegal
