Jobs that accept odd colored hair?

Question

I have jet black hair and i'm about to dye the underneath purple as well as a few streaks in front around my face.

I'm also looking for a job.

What places will accept my hair color?

Do you think a place like chuck e cheese or charlie's safari will?

What about some stores in the mall? Like bath and body works, american eagle, wet seal, claires, etc?

Please let me know! My mother thinks with odd hair, i'm confined only to hot topic and torrid. -_-;;

Any job that will put you in the back corner of the business, because no business owner or manager in her/his right mind will want you any where the customers can see you.

anywhere. it would be terrible if they limited your access to jobs because if the color of your hair! its prejudice! its hard enough to find a job. just act polite and you'll have no problem

just find a place with a cool manager that won't mind your hair.  Or maybe babysitting, if it's someone you are at least acquainted with.

Or if it really becomes an issue, and you need the money that badly, you should prob consider putting the job opportunity before your hair, you know?

what you should do..

is keep your jet black hair.. do your probation at a job for like..anywhere. (30-90 days.. when they can fire you FOR ANYTHING) and after your probation add your purple. cause then they cant fire you :).

It also depends on what city you live in because some cities are more conservative than others.  Say like Las Vegas, Nevada as compared to Hickville, Indiana.

Can't help too much, except to say that I'm not too sure about american eagle.

I heart they look for attractiveness in a person. Not that you're necesarily unnattratcive, but by their standards, the hair might take points off.

I think it depends on where you live, if it's more urban vs suburban, etc.  Besides that you can have multi-colored hair & still present yourself in a very professional, polished way.   Where I live I've seen multi colored hair on employees in the bookstores, coffee shops, the MAC counter at the department stores...but also in professional offices.  I would make certain that I'm wearing the hair & not let the hair wear me, ya know?
