I want to work for organisations that help promote the amazon or endangered species. I want to spend my life making a difference in this world & to stop global warming!

BUT I have no clue how or where to start... If you have any answers it would be greatly appreciated. I've tryed looking online countless times but all I can come up with is donating sites I want to actually go & volunteer my time or work for these people that have the same vision that I do.

  1. I just searched "volunteer with wildlife" and got LOTS of hits..see below:

There are tons of environmental volunteer sites..keep searching.

  2. Try a farm or ranch. You'll quickly learn that some of the most dedicated conservationists on this plant are people who work the land. They know it, they love it, they husband it, and they depend on it. Come spend a month with us. You'll understand a whole lot more about what the environment is all about. And why we love the land - not just worship it from afar.

  3. BigCat Rescue has volunteer opportunities, if you like working with exotic cats. Don't know much about that global warming thing, with Al Gore, and all that.

  4. I love you!

  5. I would highly recommend you to look into the Sierra Club. They are the largest environmental grass-roots organization and have been for over 100 years. This is a great place to start.

    Good luck!

  6. Check out what you can do to promote wind energy. I think this is the cleanest source of non carbon energy it costs less to produce wind turbines that solar panels and it has a lower carbon foot print plus wind power works 24/7. If you want to help the Amazon start locally. Many communities have a bias against wind turbines because they dont look nice but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and anything that does not hurt this planet is very very s**y to me and many other people

  7. How about being a major importer of the "World"s Cleanest Car".  I'll be your first customer.

BBC News is reporting that a French company has developed a pollution-free car which runs on compressed air. India's Tata Motors has the car under production and it may be on sale in Europe and India by the end of the year.

The air car, also known as the Mini-CAT or City Cat, can be refueled in minutes from an air compressor at specially equipped gas stations and can go 200 km on a 1.5 euro fill-up -- roughly 125 miles for $3. The top speed will be almost 70 mph and the cost of the vehicle as low as $7000."
