Jobs with Business Economics bachelors degree?

Hi everyone,

I am currently going to attend UCI in the fall and i am so confused as to what to do. I am computer savvy and i have had 2 part time IT jobs in the past and i love that occupation. But i am concerned because UCI doesn't offer anything IT but more Computer science which i dislike programming. I had taken a Data Structures programming class in the past and i felt it was very difficult.

I saw the Business Economics degree they had and i am also a good business person but i still want to have a job at an IT department one day.

What can one get with a business economics bachelors degree?

Enjoy your new job as a High School Economic's Teacher.

Think you wanna work on Wall Street? You better go to Harvard, Princeton, or some NorthEast elite school where they recruit from. Otherwise, your name is mudd and nobody needs your skills except High Schools and maybe no name mutual fund companies...  

The problem with an Economics degree is that the market place is limited for your skills. Maybe if you throw in an MBA you'll be in business. Otherwise, you are just a glorified bean counting accountant to most.
