Jobs with a Biology B.S.?

My brother is looking at a college (University of Minnesota- Duluth) And he is wondering what kind of job can he get with a major in Biology B.S. ? He really likes wildlife and marine biology, and we're wondering if this would be right for him, and what kind of jobs are available.

he should try to get an internship somewhere with a research company, that's usually the key to getting involved in things like that. since duluth is quite a small town he may end up having to travel somewhere else.

i just graduated and i work at a lab in a hospital with very decent pay and the field is in desperate need of new employees. i know it doesn't have anything to do with salmon, but its still cool.
