Jobs without having to go to college?

Question

I wouldn't mind going to a trade school or something, but I want some advice. I don't really want to go to college. Does anybody know any jobs or places where I can find information about getting a halfway decent job (10+ an hour) without having to go to college?

as you age, 10 dollars an hour just doesn't cut it if you ever plan to have a family or own anything worthwhile (house).  Aim higher.

Air conditioning and heating, pluming brick laying, landscaping, all are great.

If you do not choose a career in life, life will choose one for you.  Those who don't go on to higher education generally don't make nearly as much as those who do.  It's your future.  How much are you willing to invest in it?

So, if you were to get a job, you'd need reliable transportation.  That'd probably run you at least $10-20K.  And somehow, you'd find the money for that...  But not for your education.  Instead, you are going to come to me without a marketable skill, ask me to hire and then train you AND STILL you're going to want the money...

You can always do what I did.  I graduated high school with less than stellar grades and didn't get accepted into a university.  I tried doing community college but that seemed as though it was going no where.  I enlisted into the military.  They'll pay you, train you, keep a roof over your head and feed you too.  And when you're through, they'll pay you to go to a university.
