Jockey Luke Nolen of filly Black Caviar up for 2012 Royal Ascot trip – Horse Racing Update
Jockey Luke Nolen of the champion filly Black Caviar wants the talent and potential of the race-horse to be showcased in England as a part of the Royal Ascot meeting in the next racing season.
Nolan stated that he will try and convince the trainer of the filly, Peter Moody for the trip next year.
The jockey of the champion filly will be going ahead to claim his seventh Group 1 victory this racing season so far. He will be chasing the other champion Hay List over Black Caviar in the upcoming race that is known as the Group 1 BTC Cup. This race has
been scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 14 and will be run over a distance of six furlongs at the Doomben race-course.
Just like the trainer of the great filly Moody, her jockey Nolen also grew up in Queensland. He lived at Dalby on the most famous Darling Downs and now is having the time of his life riding the champion filly Black Caviar.
The jockey is extremely enthusiastic about the filly featuring in international racing events, as her trainer Moody is not very excited about it. He is nonetheless, considering options that are suitable for the race-horse overseas. However, he is not very
certain whether he wants his filly to feature in any international event.
Talking to the correspondents about this matter, the champion trainer was reported as saying, “I have been to Ascot and had my bum kicked twice and I do want to go back to beat them. Hong Kong is probably the first option but why do we need to leave here?”
It has been reported that the Nolan was born in Manangatano, which is situated in north-west Victoria. He has had an experience of riding in England and now wants to go on with the Ascot meeting with the race-horse Black Caviar in one of the biggest racing
events of the season, the Royal Ascot meeting that takes place in June. He has ridden in the World Cup and the Shergar Cup series last August.
