Swansea City midfielder, Joe Allen is hoping that Swansea will be able to make a permanent deal for Gylfi Sigurdsson, who is currently on-loan from a German club, Hoffenheim.

Joe Allen has urged the Swans boss, Brendan Rodgers to go at lengths to make a permanent deal for Sigurdsson.
"A goal-scoring midfielder, especially at this level, is like gold-dust. It's a shame that technically he isn't our player.” Allen said.
"No doubt, we'll do everything we can to sign him. If you ask him, he'd probably agree that he'd like to stay. We've got him until the season ends and we'll take it from there. We're gelling brilliantly in the central midfield.”
Sigurdsson is in sublime form at the moment, as he helped his side thrash Fulham 3-0 at the Craven Cottage, after scoring 2 goals for the Swans in the league match. It was Fulham’s first defeat in 6 games at the Craven Cottage.
The win raised Swansea to the eighth spot in the Premier League and they now have 39 points from 29 matches. However, Sunderland are only two points behind them with a game in hand.
Joe Allen heaped praise on his team mate and said that Sigurdsson is one of the best young players that he has ever seen. He said that the two goals that he scored against Fulham were an indication of his calibre and believes he has got all the traits of
a good player. He also admitted that securing the player’s services on a permanent basis, remains the club’s top priority this season.
"And one of our priorities this summer has to be to make sure we sign him. He really has got everything.” He added.
The Swans, who have had a string of good results off late, are 8th in the league table at the moment. The Welsh club has been the most impressive promoted team and they are looking to finish the season in the top half of the table.
After being promoted to the Premier League, the Swans got off to a lacklustre start, losing their opening match 4-0 to Manchester City. But after a run of 4 matches without victory, the Welsh club won their first match of the league when they hammered West
Bromwich Albion 3-0 at the Liberty stadium. Later on, they showed the footballing world what they were capable of doing, by beating http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and Manchester City in their league matches.
