New Aston Villa signing Joe Bennett is anxious to prove a point and is eager to start his Villa career in the game against Swansea City this weekend.

The player had been out injured on account of knee and ankle injuries, but is now ready for contention in a new look Villa side.
The player is thankful for the opportunity of playing top level football after experiencing rejection and disappointment twice in his career. Bennett has had his doubters over the years, but is eager to prove them wrong and make an impact with Villa.
Bennett had been unable to make it at Middlesbrough, but worked hard to get back into their first team set up. Now, having moved to the Premier League, the player is counting his blessings and not taking anything for granted.
