I guess you're fearful because Biden was obviously the best choice possible for Obama.  Biden is acknowledged by members of both parties to be the leading expert on foreign relations in the U.S. Senate and has authored significant domestic legislation while working with members across the aisle. He also had the balls to sit in the Oval Office with Bush and Cheney and tell Bush that Cheney was selling him a bill of goods and leading him down the wrong path and tell Cheney to his face that if he were his boss he would have fired him long ago.  Got to love a guy like that :)
