  1.   Sarah Palin is down to earth and understands that the role of our gov't is to serve the people of the country. She's not on some ego trip. Sarah Palin is the real deal and will touch the hearts of the common Americans.

  2. Joe Biden is, in the words of The Boston Globe editorial board, an "impenetrable thicket of words." The guy has never seen a reporter or a camera he didn't like and jump directly in front of. The only thing he loves more than his family is the sound of his own voice.

The liberal media will underestimate Sarah Palin's chances in the debate with Biden, and she will come across as intelligent, concise, witty, funny, and authentic. Joe Biden will come across as a guy who talks....and talks....and talks....and talks....and talks.....and just keeps talking. Joe Biden enjoys his conversation. His message will be lost in the litany of words that continue to pour out of his constantly moving mouth.

I was undecided in this election before last Friday. I am voting for McCain now...but not because of him...I'm doing it because of Sarah Palin. She's my homegirl.

  3. you are probably right

i like the vice presidents better then the potus candidates

    this is weird? maybe

  4. I don't understand--"reach out"?  What do you want them to

reach out to you with?  They both are at levels of power

you cannot even begin to imagine. To say things like

"ride the train to work" or "mother, hunter" and so-on is

like saying the Pope has to take a c**p too.

I will assess  which ticket  suits the needs of the nation's

best interests--and thus mine, and vote accordingly.

I don't expect these people to be  "the common man"

and I don't  trust ANYONE.  I especially don't trust the

"common  man".  He must provide me with lien wavers and

show me his insurance. Nobody trusts me either--I have

to p**s in a cup just  for the privilege of  being exploited

by some guy who's more willing than I am to risk large

amounts of money when he gets it and to inform himself

on what's a profitable way to  risk it.

I trust my  dentist.  That's about as far as it goes.

Do you think they even want you to trust them? I think

if you showed trust in them it would stimulate them to

betray you worse--like running from  an aggressive

barking dog.  They're laying their  cards on the table--here's

what I've done. Here's how much experience I have.  Here's

what I did under personal stress like someone might be in

considering whether or  not to consign large numbers of

brave fine  young people (and some not so young) to

go get killed.  I've  gone and helped a lot of losers get

a little ahead so they--being losers-can lose whatever it

    gained them...

Here--my son's  going off to war--I want to get into  a position

where I can  get him  home safe and sound as quick as

I can!  Now, what human father (other than some sort of

psychopath)  wouldn't   have  that in the back  of his mind?

Hi! I've seen what drilling  oil can mean in my state--it can mean

the state paying   the citizen instead of the citizen paying

    taxes--drill drill drill!

Then we get to  look at these things and decide if  one or the

other has motivations or qualities  we feel are important,

but trust?  Trust in what?  Trust that  they'd help you out if

they even knew you existed?    THEY DON'T.

Do you think you can  trust the media?  What do you think all

those asinine commercials you're seeing  on the media are?

"He can't  even remember how many houses he has" or

--well, I actually don't even pay attention to McCain's because

I already know I'm voting for him, but you get the picture.

Those are bribes.  They're putting ads in the same venues

which  are responsible for informing you about them.  What do

you think the most important piece of information  they dig up

on each candidate is before  they dig up any other piece? I'll

tell you what it is--how much money  they have to spend so

the "news venue" can know whether or  not they've gotten

their  fair share of it commensurate with their market share of

the audiences--and thus their ability to  do damage if they chuse

to; if they think they've been short-changed.

You can't trust any of that.   I don't care if their talking-heads play

at being conservative or liberal. If they got paid what they think they're

due,  they're not telling you everything you might like to know.

You might  as well just go look at their websites.

And non-affiliated web "resources" are even worse because

you don't know what their  deal really is.

I'm voting for McCain because I hope he'll be a continuation

of what's in.  The other side will vote for  Obama because

they  figure he's going to be something different--they don't

really know what and can't  trust what he says h**l do  different.

Biden's the signal--he's the big fat sign that says to

trust them  for the normal  democrat  behavior.  Obama's

the icon for  change, Biden's the icon for   change to what.

McCain's the icon for 'hold the line" and  Palin's the icon for

"reinforcements coming up from the rear".

Honestly, I think from what I've read on here most everyone's

figured it out, chosen up sides and is  doing everything they

think they can to reinforce their side's   argument.

  5. I like her!

  6. Biden is not just like me.  I don't live in a compound in a multi-million dollar mansion.  Maybe if I hit the lottery I could.

  7. Bunny - Joe Biden is the second poorest senator out there. He is about as close to being an average Joe Obama could get who still has extensive experience. His net worth between $59,000 and $366,000, which would rule out him owning multi-million dollar homes, unlike John "I don't know how many homes I own" McCain.

With that said, I think the fight over who is more average Joe is pretty absurd. If you want to know whether they represent you, see what they have actually tried to accomplish and where they stand on the issues.

  8. Joe Sixpack will vote for McCain since his wife owns one of the biggest breweries in the world.

A new welfare program will include free beer for the needy (and the greedy)
