Joe Biden has been in the Senate longer than most Obama supporters have been alive?

Now may i ask how on earth does that fit in with "change" from the standard old school Washington politics that Barack Obama is running on?

Biden has always been an outsider in Washington.  He doesn't even own a home there.  Biden has long been respected on both sides of the isle, Republican and Democrat, as someone with morals and good judgement. That is why Obama chose him.  Obama is the change, Biden will be there to help Obama.

That is better than McCain.  McCain is not for any change and he picked someone that he will throw away after the election is over because she will be of no more use to him.  Palin is only there to do one thing, get the woman vote.

It's certainly NOT A MYTH that Biden has been in the Senate since 1973.  There's nothing different about Biden.  He is a typical Washington insider, but that is exactly what the very inexperienced Obama needed.

He's supposed to be a great parliamentarian. "Change' means nothing if you can't get a bill passed. the Senate has all these strange rules. Biden knows them in and out. The VP is the head of the senate at sets its legislative agenda.

It doesn't, it seems the real chang eis now McCain/Palin.  McCain has always been more independent and often went with dems on lesgislation, and Palin well you can't get any newer then that.

It fits in because he's not the one screaming "change", Obama is. He's simply going to be the VICE president, who brings to the table everything that Obama has been accused of not having. Obama's the one running the show, and we all know he's for change.
