  1. Its not a bad question. After their first encounter, while Bugner was swimming in the hotel pool, Ali was lying exhausted on a table somewhere.

Still, would fancy Lennox on points, be it over 12 or 15 rounds.

  2. Bugner was a career journeyman steppingstone, Lewis in about 8.

  3. Lennox would have been too skilful for Joe.

  4. Joe because Lennox would have been 10! lol

  5. Lennox wins by TKO or on cuts. Too much skill and a piston like jab that destroys fighters that are only journeymen.

  6. Lennox Lewis

  7. One big difference here between these two and that is Lewis was good enough to become champion and Bugner was not. Bugner was one of those fighters that always gave a good account of himself like Oscar Bonavena.  He was durable and actually had some pretty decent boxing skills.  Bugner in this fight would also give a brave performance and even have some brilliant moments.  But the overall skill level and speed of Lewis would prevail here.I say Lewis by unanimous decision.

  8. lewis

  9. Joe fought a lot of good and great fighters.  However,  he would have nothing to offer Lennox Lewis.  Sounding like the genie in Aladdan,  Lewis oftens likes to say  ''He aint never met a man like me".  In this case it would be true.

Its a numbers game.  Everything Bugner can do,  Lewis can do better.  He can hit Joe harder than Frazier or Ali did and Joe's not a very mobil fighter so Lennox wouldnt have to search for him.

Easy fight here.  Styles make fights.

    Lewis by KO before 4

  10. bugner was a durable boxer, but lewis would have stopped him in the mid to late rounds.

  11. No need for any detail on this one, any real boxing fan knows it would have been an early (3rd or 4th round) stoppage with Lennox emerging victorious
