  1. Joe Calzaghe

  2. d**k tiger retired in 1970 and died in 1971, so lets make this the 1966 tiger who defeated jose torres.

if this match was made at super middle (which i know didn't exist in tiger's day), i would pick tiger on points.

however, at light heavy, at that stage in their career's, i would probably pick calzaghe to take it, purely based on tiger's losses to emile griffith.

  3. d**k Tiger beat Jose Torres for the light heavyweight title.  He was a very strong and aggressive fighter that beat people like Joey Giardello, Gene Fullmer among others in his career.  Calzaghe has the advantage in handspeed and would need that and more to defeat Tiger.  This would have been a close fight with Calzaghe winning the early rounds and Tiger coming on strong in the championship rounds.  The decision by the ringside judges is a draw.

  4. Id have to go for Tiger here, incredible fighter at middleweight but as there was no super middle he was good enough at light heavy to defeat Jose Torres  fight the worlds best Bob Foster, albeit ko'd in 4.d**k Tiger's resume included ko'ing London's Terry Downes,a former world champ, epic battles against the middleweight great Gene Fulmer and not to mention the Italy's finest , Nino Benvenuti who took Monzon almost all the way, these are 15 round fighters wearing 8oz glove,Id go for Tiger to ko Calzaghe round 10.

  5. calzaghe would be too strong and he would throw too many punches for tiger to cope with joe is the greatest boxer britain has ever produced joe would win by knockout by round 8 or 9
