http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Joe-Cole-c18694 could be making his own fitness video as he is linked with West Ham United and QPR
West Ham United are reportedly eyeing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 attacking midfielder Joe Cole for a possible loan move in the upcoming season. The 29-year-old has failed to impress at Anfield after moving there in the summer of 2010 on a free transfer from Premier League
rivals http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Steven-Gerrard-c34196 going as far as to claim
that Cole was “better than Messi”.
After his spell with the Reds, the winger c*m attacking midfielder does not even deserve to be compared to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 in the English Premier League.
His bad luck continued in the UEFA Europa League, with the winger missing a penalty for the Reds in a fixture against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Trabzonspor-c40759 in the qualifying round. After that, Cole was mostly used as a substitute under both Roy Hodgson and Kenny Dalglish.
Surprisingly, Cole can boast 32 appearances for Liverpool last season in all competitions, including three goals. However, being used as a substitute is not something Cole is satisfied with and is once again looking for a move away.
Unfortunately for him, no “big club” is interested in what he has to offer. So far the only two sides linked with him are recently promoted Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314 and recently relegated West Ham United, which happens to be his boy-hood club.
Cole moved to Chelsea from West Ham United in the summer of 2003, after spending five years at Upton Park. The England midfielder made his senior debut for the Hammers in 1998, making 150 appearances for them and scoring 13 goals.
He then moved on to Chelsea under manager Jose Mourinho and remained a somewhat consistent part of the starting XI under the various managers at Stamford Bridge. He made a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Total-c40747 of 278 appearances for the Blues in all competition, scoring 40 goals.
It is highly likely that the Reds player would have had a better chance at regular football had he remained at Chelsea. However, having made the move to Liverpool and having failed to establish himself, Cole might as well retire.
Unless of course he doesn’t mind spending the rest of his playing career on the bench for either QPR or West Ham United. West Ham would still be willing to acquire the services for Cole, on a loan deal or permanent move, in hopes he could help guide them
back to the Premier League.
QPR, not so much. They newly promoted side would not be willing to pay for the services of Cole, who seems to be way past his prime, despite being only 29 years old. In his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Defence-c38904, Cole has not been in top form after the knee injury he picked up while still
with Chelsea.
With his fitness in question, Cole has no option but to prove he is fit enough so as to attract other clubs. He can follow in the footsteps of his England teammate http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Owen-Hargreaves-c28918, who has been “showing off” his fitness on YouTube.
