Joe Dumars!!?

Question

How in God's name is Joe Dumars not a part of the NBA's 50 Greatest Players!!??? That guy was a monster on defence, and a key member of Detroit's Bad Boys and their back to back. What did he lack to not make it into the 50 greatest players list?

being from detroit , ill have to agree with you,, but because , he was so over shadowed by isiah thomas,,, and he was like the scotty pippen to micheal jordan,,,

not to worry, hes one h**l of a team manager,, and is an asset to this community,, that goes far beyond, and hed be the first to tell you he wouldnt be upset by not being on that list,, becuase he knows what hes accomplished and

he knows you there are alot more than 50 greatest players,,,

to each his own, your top 50 may not be his or mine,, or anyone elses,,,

I totallty agree, being a lifelong Piston fan I can't believe he was left off the list. i mean really, if you put Isiah on there you have to put Joe Dumars. Joe was actually more an offensive threat than Isiah in the Finals. Isiah won a finals MVP, and so did Joe in 1990 vs Portland. Plus Joe was all defensive first team 4 times.

Really it's a crime he's not on there.

It doesn't matter what Joe Dumars did. No one realizes anything does. Have you heard Tim Legler talk about them. He actually said the pistons suck! Last year. How sad.
