  1. Gimme a break, Frazier would have blown him out!

  2. Mac Foster was a serious contender and ranked #1 at one time in his career undefeated with a lot of knockouts before losing to Jerry Quarry.  He was never the same after that.  He had a good punch but would not had enough to beat a great relentles pressure fighter like Smoking Joe Frazier.  Frazier by technical knockout in 7 rounds.

  3. Let's see.  Mac couldnt make it to the finals of that tournament of pretenders to decide Ali's successor.  Frazier chose to take the New York version of the title from Buster Mathis and wait for the "B-raters" to finish, then take on the winner,  Jimmy Ellis,  whom Frazier destroyed in 5.

Frazier was better than all those guys.  He was CLEARLY the second best heavyweight in the world when ALi first went into exile.  (or third if you can recall how carefully his camp avoided the still live Sonny Liston).

Ellis made it to the finals as WBA champ.   Foster didnt participate but faced the man Ellis won the title from,  Jerry Quarry.  Quarry stopped Foster in 6.  There's a reason for this.  Though Foster had a lot of KOs (I think his record was something like 24-0 24KOs wn he met Quarry),  he was like a lot of punchers,  no skill.  padded record over shopworn competition.

Foster was stopped once in his career.  Had he fought Frazier it would have been two stoppages.

    Frazier by KO in 4

  4. frazier in 4 or 5 rounds as macarthur is no match.
