Joe Hart and Vincent Kompany want to finish above Arsenal in this year’s Premier League – EPL news
Manchester City duo, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vincent-Kompany-c36184 and Joe Hart, has expressed their desire to finish third in the English Premier League table above Arsenal. Both were talking in the wake of City’s win over Tottenham Hotspur which has guaranteed them a top-four finish this season.

Goalkeeper http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Joe-Hart-c18699 and defender Kompany are keen to finish in the top-three, which would give them an extra edge over the Gunners. City could avoid Champions League qualification stages if they could seal the third spot at the end of the season.
Hart further mentioned, "It means the absolute world [to finish in the top four]. With two games to go we’re going to hunt that third place down. Couldn’t care less how much the club has spent. We are the players we are paid to go out and give performance and get results.  We are a group of players, we are a team and we are delighted with what we got.”
The goalkeeper also hailed the Spurs outfit who worked really hard throughout to retain their fourth position but it wasn’t to be this time.
Kompany on the other hand showed a bit more composure and believed that there is still a long way to go and City are not yet completely into the Champions League. He stated that it would be the best thing to end the season above Arsenal and avoid play-offs.
He insisted on the need for Silverware and assured that the Citizens would go all out against Stoke City in the final of the FA Cup. He promised to bring a trophy home for the fans.
Company concluded, "We need a trophy, and that’s Saturday, we need to give the fans something they can hold,"
Manchester City have now secured the fourth spot and are left with two games to be played in the current 2010/11 campaign.
