Manchester City goal keeper, Joe Hart believes that City are doing well in the Premier League because of their success in the FA Cup last season, which has helped the confidence at the Etihad Stadium, be at an all time high.
The keeper is adamant on the fact that the win last season, has helped the team grow in confidence and in numbers.
Hart is also labelling the win to be the prime reason, for so many world class players walking into the club before the start of the current season.
When talking about the impact of the FA Cup on the team and its future, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international is quoted to have said: “Having that trophy also helped us bring in some excellent players this year, and that is what we are trying to do. Whatever trophy
we are in, we are hunting for it"
“It was huge for the club, huge for the fans and the players.”
“It means an awful lot that we won it. There was a lot made about it, with all the local taunts about 35 years and so on, and they have all gone now.”
Hart is not the only player to believe the FA Cup had a massive impact on the club and its future. City manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 also feels the same way and has admitted that his sides spirit at the end of last season, is the reason, for them doing as well
as they are this season.
The Blue side of Manchester are already looking to switch the power of Manchester in their favour, as they are on top of the league table and have also managed to humiliate their local rivals by beating them, six goals to one in the Premier League.
Heading into this weekend’s fixture, City will be looking to build on that form and success, as they take on United once again.
With the bragging right in the city up for grabs, both City and United will be looking to go all out in the game.
However, with City’s new found confidence, they could make life a whole lot harder for the team.
