Joe Hart can’t wait for Manchester City to play in the Champions League
Manchester City keeper and England international http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Joe-Hart-c18699 has gone on to admit that he can’t wait for Manchester City to take to the field for the very first time in the UEFA Champions League.
City are set to participate in their first ever Champions League and have been pooled alongside the likes of Bayern Munich, Villa Real and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003. As a result, it is safe to say that their debut in the Champions League, is going to be a rather interesting
one.
Despite many claiming that City don’t have the experience to go far in the tournament. However, Hart feels that City are bound to surprise many and could even go all the way if they really put their heads to it.
When talking about the upcoming tournament, Joe Hart is quoted to have said: "When the Champions League music starts on Wednesday night, I'll be humming along"
"As a club, players and fans, we're looking forward to it. It's really exciting and we can't wait.”
The player then went on to admit that most of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international squad had played in the league and that it was high time that he himself stepped out to the field in the Champions League.
"Some of my closest friends, the England lads, have played in the Champions League, so it's a big thing to be there as well.
"It's something we've been striving to do. You can't get any better than winning in Europe.”
Hart then went on to admit that City were not going to be fearing anyone and were bound to cause some upsets along the way.
"There is belief that we can do well - we're not fearing anyone.”
Given how City have been performing so far this season, it is safe to say that the team is more than capable of causing an upset or two. It is now a wait to see just how the team performs when they take to the field this Wednesday.
