The Tottenham assistant-coach feels that the UEFA Champions League second-leg between http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and Milan is only a formality, with the result already decided.
The Rossoneri were at their lethal best in the reverse fixture at San Siro, with the Milanese outfit 4-0 victors on the night.
Consequently, it has been said that Massimiliano Allegri’s men have one foot in the Champions League quarter-final due to their emphatic victory.
Tottenham emerged victorious against the Diavolo at the same stage last season, and the former AC Milan striker feels that the deficit will be too much for the Gunners to overcome.  Arsene Wenger’s men have
bounced back to great effect from the first-leg defeat to the Rossoneri, with convincing victories in the Premier League.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jordan-c2929 gave his judgement on the tie, commenting:
“True, the Gunners have recovered from the 4-0 result to beat Tottenham 5-2 and then http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 2-1, but we must be realistic - to recover a similar disadvantage against a team like Milan, who have greater
European experience…I do not know how it could be possible.”
The former Rossoneri man also praised AC Milan on their growth this year. He believes that the Italian Champions are a different team to the one that they played last year, and they are more confident and
enterprising. On the subject, he further analysed:
“I have to say that Milan has grown this year. I think they have gained a great deal from winning the League last season, because it gave them a confidence and has helped them address matches with a different
spirit.”
Both teams come into the second-leg tie on the back of some scintillating performances in their latest games. Milan thumped Palermo 4-0 in their previous league outing, while Arsenal beat Liverpool at the
weekend.
Arsene Wenger has not hidden the fact that victory is improbable for the Gunners, as the deficit is too big to overcome. However, the Frenchman has an array of talent in his squad, who have the quality to
make a comeback, especially with the form http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 is in.
The second-leg will be played at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday, 06 March.
