Joe Louis won 68 and lost 3 with 54 kayo's in his brilliant career.  George Foreman won 76 and lost 5 with 68 kayo's as far as a more recent modern heavyweight.  Larry Holmes won 69 and lost 6 with 44 kayo's.

Note:  The guy above me is obviously lacking in boxing knowledge in saying Joe was overrated and he never fought Archie Moore either.

joe louis was overrated.he never fought anyone worth mentioning,and he got kayoed by a german.an old archie moore doesnt count.
