Joe Theismann hates Brett Favre and the Jets?

In the Redskins/Panthers preseason game, Joe Theismann said something like this:

"yadda yadda... Todd Collins could have been a starter for a team like Chicago, but he decided to re-sign here. He's not a hall of famer, but he's a great veteran QB that can help the Redskins get back to the playoffs in case Jason Campbell gets hurt again. It's not like that team from New York whom needs to sign a big name just to sell tickets for their team. It's a shame for them because their team still won't even make the playoffs. The Redskins are a better team.... yadda yadda yadda"

I assume he was talking about Favre and the Jets?

you're right he was, and you know what? Joe Theismann is absolutely right. I agree with almost everything he said. Brett Favre is garbage....

Is it maybe because his name is on their ring of fame? I don't care for Joe Thiesman, he's not a good quality broadcaster IMO. Everything he says is garbage.

I put him right up there with Paul McQuire (sp?)... worthless.

BY the way: I LOVE watch the video of LT snapping Joe's tibia. AWESOME!

To Thepoosy, Brett Favre is a Hall Of Famer and should be treated with respect.

To milkman, have a heart dude. I don't like Theismann either, but every time I see that video I cringe. I wouldn't wish that on anyone, even Tom Brady(I'd like to see him get knocked out of a game, maybe even a season, but not ending his career that way).
