Joe bugner vs lennox lewis?

alot of people out here never seen joe bugner fight and assume lewis would easily beat him joe bugner was tall like lewis had a better chin than lewis and fought better fighters than lewis did i think joe bugner would of given lennox lewis all he could handle and possibly even beat him dont knock bugner until you seen a number of his fights i seen both lewis and bugner fight in their primes

bugner didn't have nearly the power than lewis had.

Bugner was not as tall or as heavy as Lewis, he was not as fast or heavy handed as Lewis was neither, nor did he have the ring craft or precision that Lewis pecessed, Lewis rarely missed a shot and was one of the hardest punchers in boxing history, so i think the only thing Bugner has over Lewis is a name, but that did Tyson, holyfield, Ruddick,  Bowe, Golotto, and Glichko no good so it wouldn't for Bugner

I agree that Bugner did have maybe a better chin than Lennox and does have some quality fighters as oppostion on his record but what i would say is that Bugner never really beat anyone of that much note Jimmy Ellis and Henry Cooper are probably his most noticible victorys all the other top fighters beat him and most of the time convincingly. The area that Bugner is no match for Lennox is that Joe could not hit no where near as hard as Lennox could and this would be the difference, i know Bugner took Ali and Frazier the distance but i really see Lennox getting the job done within 8 rounds in a very one sided fight.

Joe was a big guy with a decent chin and a good level of competition,but lennox was much more powerful and much better technically, i know you have a lot of hate for lennox but to say that joe bugner would beat or could beat lewis....that just takes away from your credibilty.

lennox would beat him id say as he got that bit more class.

he would also be to big and to strong just that bit exta everthing

would be just to much to last 12 rounds with lewis.

lewis was better when he was lean and looked better and its always better to watch to. but he was still probley harder to beat when he got to around 19stone. lennox had a good chin as at that weight if somone bangs you on the buton it very hard not to stay up.

when he lost i put it down to sweet shots dream punches also

being sloppy witch he should never lost but its down to showing off. as when he met them again he beat them.

so he throw them away when he was better than them.

bungner was strange one as he could blow hot and cold so depends witch joe or lennox turns up
