This is the fight that will determine if the true lightweight champ has anything left.  If his last "victory" over Jose Armando Santa Cruz was just ring rust, then I think that he can outbox Katsidis to win by unanimous decision.  Honestly, though, I really think that Casamayor is not the same fighter that he once was.  In his prime, he was excellent because he had all the tools and it showed in his fights (even if he is a bit dirty), and it can be argued that his three losses should have been victories.  If this was a prime Casamayor, I would pick him to win easily.  I think that Katsidis is just too young and strong for Casamayor at this stage though.  Prediction- Katsidis by unanimous decision (Casamayor won't get stopped; he's too tough).  However, if Casamayor does manage to pull the upset, I will not be all that shocked because Katsidis is very one-dimensional and Joel is still the better boxer, even at this stage of his career.

i will pick katsidis in this one, but you can never count out casamayor, who is still cagey......so assuming katsidis keeps a tight defence, then he'll take it, or else joel will pick him off.

I think that Katsidis will win only because casmayor looked terrible against cruz, he got the ridiculous decision but he clearly lost, katsidis is young strong will pressure the old casmayor and will hit him with flush shots, outwork him and i htink KO him in the 9th, great fight and a new star is born in katsidis.
