The Englishman has hailed Olympique de Marseille team-mate, Andre-Pierre Gignac as a great striker, and felt it was realistic to compare the striker to Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Joey Barton praised Andre-Pierre Gignac to be a player of great attacking talent. The midfielder believes that the Frenchman possesses the right mix to be a world-class striker, comparing him to the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic of Paris Saint-Germain.

“He's one of our most important players. He's the equivalent of Ibrahimovic at Paris Saint-Germain.”

"Bastia isn't an easy place to go to, and Toulouse was a tough game.”
