Joey Barton.................?

I know this is controversial but, what good is everyone getting on his back doing? I know he deserves every kick, jeer and unpopularity he gets but what is the point?

Yes he is complete scum, But the only way he is going to change is if we all cut him some slack. I mean, everyone slating him will not change him, but some support could.

I know this is going into a bigger, deeper subject but he has served his punishment, should that mean we all just keep our judgements to ourselves and let him be?

Could you imagine the consiquences of him being banned for life from football? He could become SO much worse and get into really serious crime. He really could do with direction and football is the only direction he has. Take that away and reform will be that much harder.

I also know that he has had many a second chance and probably shouldn't get another one. But thinking of the bigger picture, What would be the best outcome of this F.A punishment bearing in mind that the consiquence of it won't just affect him, but possibly the person he stabs on his next drunken night out.

Thanks

  1. I know the scumbag and am prepared to meet him face to face. just like the last time he will say nowt because I am bigger than him he only pick,s on someone who cannot defend themselves he was the same in school

  2. So what is the answer? Have the FA slap him on the wrist and say 'what a naughty boy you have been, but hey, lets have you playing each week, earning a fortune'? What kind of example does that show to other players and especially young kids who look up to footballers?

As for football being his only direction, what utter tosh! The bloke is nothing more than a thug and a bully.

I really hope the FA show some backbone and sensibility and ban him from football for life.

  3. i want the f a to pay me £60,000 a week to beat people up ,do you think they will pay me , thought not , get him out of football for life

  4. I don't wanna sound negative, but I think there's no way you can reform a guy like him. No I have never met the guy, but I just think it's engrained in to him, it's who he is. He has everything you could want in life, yet he still seems angry, it's bizarre.

Good luck to him anyway, and I do agree there's no point in getting on his back.

  5. you sound like a genuine individual, but i wouldn't let gary glitter babysit my kids, and i'm not about to give pardon to a guy who has on numerous occasions viciously assaulted other human beings in the public eye. when you or I do that we lose our jobs so why should he keep his, and please take into account his job is the dream of a lot of kids who would probably behaved a lot better than him, i have known doormen, barmen, police officers, ambulance drivers, and various other individuals in the execution of their jobs do a lot less than stab someone in the eye with a cigar or hospitalise a colleague and get their p45's, so joey barton deserves no more chances. THE END.

  6. going to end up in jail again if not he should consider coming to cardiff

  7. whether he stays out of football or not,he will not change

he will always be a scumbag and show that through what he does in his matches with newcastle eg.what he did to nasri in the match with arsenal as soon as the substitution occured

even a second chance is too much.a guy like that doesnt deserve it

  8. Joey is the best player in the World and only fools dis his power and great defending skills

    all hail the king Barton

(everything above the line is a lie)

  9. Track him down, meet him face-to-face, and, call him "complete scum" to his face. What's the matter pal? I can feel your proxymal phalanx tightening.
