Jogging after dark in Houston?

Does anyone know of a (relatively) safe, lighted park where I can jog in the late evenings? I prefer somewhere in the central or SW area, but the main thing is somewhere that doesn't close the gates at 9 or 10.

Personally I wouldn't recommend anyone jogging in any park in Houston after dark esp if they were a woman.

Its admirable you want to stay in shape but I'd consider doing this indoors where you are far more protected. The health clubs are kinda pricey. Check into the YMCA about a membership.
