I started walking three years ago. i quit smoking and went to a faster pace walk. This year i started running. I love it but it hurts my knees. I stretech before and after but it doesnt help. My knees just hurt , even at a slow pace. I wear running shoes ( New Balance) It only hurts while running. When i am done there is no pain like when i run. Why is this? I really dont feel like i can get the excercise i want anymore from walking. And i do not want to double the walking to make up for running. I do not have the time with kids schedules. I do 35 minutes a day 5 days a week.
