Iv tried heel to toe but its really hard for me, i slip up and trip, or i cant keep rythem etc etc...does it get easier with practice? Or am i doing it wrong...If im doing it wrong can someone please explain how exactly to run correctly. Awnsers and opinions will be MUCH appreciated, thanks so much.

  1. Well im guessing you run distance? Or take part in x-country or track? Its not such a good idea to run on the balls of your feet. Make sure you have running shoes that are comfortable for you. Also maybe you need insoles because your feet are different? But jogging should be light and easy so just take your time and it'll come natural. I'm 14 too and quite enjoy running so i hope my opinion helps.

  2. Flat footed or heel to toe.  Try relaxing your feel, slow down, and use your upper leg muscles more.

  3. By running on the balls of your feet you are strengthening your calf and upper leg muscles. Finding the shoes that you like is extremely important. I've had shoes that make me not want to walk. I just finished basketball camp and my basketball shoes gave me no blisters and I was able to work out today.

  4. In all honesty, whatever comes naturally is the right way for you to run. Your feet may hurt due to your shoes! Make sure you get really good running shoes! Get your parents to take you to a specialty running store where you can get really good care!
