Jogging/runnings?

i want to start running again since its the summer and my average is a mile in 8 minutes. how long should i run for and whats the best time of day to go? do you carry a bottle of water with you? also, i dont really want people in the neighborhood to see me going for a run because i usually dont run around here, so what do i do? also can i run while im on my period if i just use a pad? im not allowed to use tampons. thanks for all the help!

  1. The people in your neighborhood will get used to running around the place. Second of all the time of the run and the intensity of the workout really depends on your overall goal. Also running with a water bottle can mess up your running stride.


  2. The best time to run is when it is a comfy temperature and convenient for you. I like the morning (8-9ish) b/c it is cool and then you are done for the day but alot of the time i am too busy so I go after dinner at 7, which is also nice. I don't carry water, most don't. It is just a hassle and if you hydrate alot during the day you should be good. It is okay if people see you run, they really don't care. Try to go in a park or something where there are other runners. I run through my period and I recommend it. My coach says it can make the pain less if you run. I think a pad would be okay but idk b/c i use tampons. As a rule, your flow is heavier when you run so keep that in mind when you select or protection.

  3. Just do some jogging. If you do it on a regular basis, you will be surprise that you're improving. In regards with having period, i suggest that you should not run.
