Cruyff also expressed that La Liga is not a two horse race…
Former Barcelona coach, Johan Cruyff, recently expressed his satisfaction on Barcelona’s victory over Real Madrid. The Dutch legend made it clear how he believes that Barcelona are still a better side than Real Madrid.
Cruyff expressed his contentment over Barcelona’s brilliant performance against Real Madrid on Saturday. The Catalan Giants were expected to perform brilliantly in order to win the tough derby game scheduled to take place at Santiago Bernabeu.
Cruyff simply proved his argument with facts as the Spanish Champions were able to win 1-3 against Madrid while being away from home.
Real Madrid have been impressive throughout this season. Jose Mourinho’s men always stepped up and managed to win the game whenever it was required.
Many pundits believed that this was the year for Madrid as they were closing the gap on Barcelona. La Blaugrana were hypothetically six points behind Madrid before the El Clasico but Cruyff thinks that the 1-3 win over Madrid has shown how Barcelona are
still the best team in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011.
While speaking about Saturday’s fixture, Johan Cruyff said:
"Based on what we've seen, it is clear that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 are still ahead of Madrid. It was not a great match. Barcelona were only able to play their own game for about 25 minutes when they really dominated, while the best Madrid could do was keeping up with
Barca before the break.”
While speaking about the Spanish La Liga and how it is fought between two teams, Cruyff said:
"Nothing has been decided yet and the encounter at Camp Nou [in the reverse fixture] won't be decisive either. It's not a league between just the two teams. It's all about making as few mistakes as possible throughout the season. You have to get the maximum
score from the other games, and have to be 100 per cent all the time. That's very difficult."
Barcelona are now going to play a FIFA Club World Cup game in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Japan-c2928 while Madrid are going to play their match at hand against Sevilla over the weekend.
