The former Barcelona manager and player, Johan Cruyff, has recently commented on Real Madrid’s youth system and has claimed that Jose Mourinho should utilize more of his youth players in order to give them exposure.
This point was recently being highlighted in the press all over the Iberian Peninsula, as the fans and pundits claimed that Los Blancos rely too much on their star players which they have lured in from outside the club and they do not utilize their younger
team-mates.
The youth system of Real Madrid is not poor; in fact, they have managed to create players such as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786
and Queen Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314.
While speaking about Real Madrid and their youth system, Johan Cruyff stated that Los Blancos should utilize their youth more in order to give them exposure.
“Madrid has a good academy but could take more advantage of it, although everyone has the right to do things as they like,” said Cruyff.
Real Madrid recently showed that they have a talented youth academy as their young striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Álvaro-c5280 Morata, was able to win the game for Los Blancos as they faced Levante over the weekend.
Even after the win, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 are still eight points above their arch-rivals, Real Madrid, a gap which Mourinho has been trying to bridge since the start of the campaign.
The Dutch legend spoke in favour of La Blaugrana and stated:
“Do you think when the Coach changes they forget how to play football? Do you think Guardiola taught Messi to play or that Vilanova will reduce Messi's quality?”
“If Tito is there it is because he knows a lot and knows how to manage the dressing room in difficult times.”
Both these teams are currently favourites to not only win the Spanish La Liga, but also the UEFA Champions League. Currently, they have both lost only one game in the European competition.
