Johan Djourou and Kieran Gibbs both give Arsenal early injury scare
Arsenal played host to Italian side Udinese last night, in what was a UEFA Champions League qualifying game. Going into the game, the Gunners were depleted and were without the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360.
However, despite that fact, the North London side went on pick up the win over their opponents, via a very early, 4th minute goal, courtesy of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873.
Despite that fact, the win was not marked with only good news, as the duo of Kieran Gibbs and Johan Djourou both went on to pick up injuries during the game.
Gibbs failed to make it back on to the pitch following the half time break and it was reported that he had tweaked his hamstring, which had caused him from failing to get back on the pitch. Djourou came out to replace the injured player and ten minutes after
his emergence onto the pitch, he also suffered the same fate as Gibbs.
Gibbs is no new face to suffering injuries. Last season, the defender went on to miss out on a major portion of the Gunners season, due to a thigh injury. However, despite that fact, Wenger felt that the player was ready to be made the first choice full
back for the team.
There is no indication on just how long the duo will be out of action for, but what can be said assuredly, is that the duo will be out of action for the upcoming game against Liverpool.

"Gibbs was replaced by Djourou at half time and the Swiss defender was in turn replaced by Carl Jenkinson 10 minutes later.”
It also went on to confirm that they would miss out on the game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, which is set to take place this Saturday.
"Both players could miss Saturday's game against Liverpool."
It seems like the Gunners season hasn’t even started and their players are falling all over the place already. Arsenal players seem to have a very weird tendency of picking up injuries and it is a wonder as to how the medical staff at the club hasn’t been
looked into.
Nonetheless, there is very little that Arsenal can do at the moment, apart from using their back up players to fill in for the players, unless of course Wenger decides to spend some money and buy competent replacements.
