Johan Santana Complete Game!?

To anyone who still feels that Santana is not helping this Mets team..

he threw a complete game just when they needed one, only 6 hits, 1 run. 5 strikeouts, 1 walk.

Johan is an excellent pitcher, and will have a great second half. He's 9-7 now, and in reality, should have 13-14 wins already.

The Mets really should have swept St. Louis, last night's game was really hard to swallow, too many men left on base.

I never doubt him to begin with the complete game that's nothing the Cards got blowing out 9 to 1 remember Mets Did lose in extras last night 10 to 8, Its not Santana complete game that help the Mets Win It was the Cardinals worn down from Last Night's Win, Hope You got all that.

As a Cards fan, it was not a good game. But, since I have Santana on my fantasy team, he helped me out. Mixed feelings...

He is helping the team, but I don't think his team is helping him. The bullpen has been terrible when Santana pitches.

My Cardinals lost...Oh well. Johan Santana is one of the best pitchers in the game today, if not the best. I tip my cap to the Mets for a well played series, and I hope both of our teams do well the rest of the year!

And I think that Santana's mere presence would help any team he is on, because he gives a boost of confidence to the other players and their abilities to win the division.

Santana pitched a fine game today, and he has pitched well much more often than not this season. There were some times earlier in the season when he was not getting a lot of help from his teammates.
