John 14:7 " "If you had known Me, you would have known the father also; from now on you know Him and have seen Him" ......9......"he who has seen me has seen the Father; How do you say 'Show us the Father?"

10 "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me?"

This is not the entire passage I didn't want to type the whole thing. How should this be interpreted?

If this is not proof that Jesus is part of the Godhead what is He saying??

  1. If you looking for a godhead- then look no further than the Hindu Religion, that had a godhead Religion long before Jesus was born as a human,- same goes for the Babylonian godhead. Frankly, thinking about a godhead in the Christian Religion is repulsive to the Creator and all the Angels in Heaven.

  2. Isaiah 44:6 ....... Thus saith the Lord, the King of Israel, and his redeemer, the Lord of hosts ; I Am the first, and I Am the last ; and beside Me there is no God .

He that loveth Me not keepeth not My sayings : and the Word which ye hear is not mine, but the Fathers, which sent Me. These things have I spoken unto you being yet present with you, But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Colossians 1:12-19 ....... Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light : Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son : In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins : Who is the image of the invisible God, the first born of every creature : For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers : all things were created by Him, and for Him : and He is before all things and by Him all things consist. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fulness dwell.

  3. same thing Paul says in Colossians 2:9....

  4. Jesus is Jehovah’s most precious Son—and for good reason. He is called “the firstborn of all creation,” for he was God’s first creation. (Colossians 1:15) There is something else that makes this Son special. He is the “only-begotten Son.” (John 3:16) This means that Jesus is the only one directly created by God. Jesus is also the only one whom God used when He created all other things. (Colossians 1:16) Then, too, Jesus is called “the Word.” (John 1:14) This tells us that he spoke for God, no doubt delivering messages and instructions to the Father’s other sons, both spirit and human.

Is the firstborn Son equal to God, as some believe? That is not what the Bible teaches. As we noted in the preceding paragraph, the Son was created. Obviously, then, he had a beginning, whereas Jehovah God has no beginning or end. (Psalm 90:2) The only-begotten Son never even considered trying to be equal to his Father. The Bible clearly teaches that the Father is greater than the Son. (John 14:28; 1 Corinthians 11:3) Jehovah alone is “God Almighty.” (Genesis 17:1) Therefore, he has no equal.

Jehovah and his firstborn Son enjoyed close association for billions of years—long before the starry heavens and the earth were created. How they must have loved each other! (John 3:35; 14:31) This dear Son was just like his Father. That is why the Bible refers to the Son as “the image of the invisible God.” (Colossians 1:15) Yes, even as a human son may closely resemble his father in various ways, this heavenly Son reflected his Father’s qualities and personality.

  5. Very simple.  Jesus was taught by the Father, that is why he knew so much.  If one is taught by the Father today, the world would still not know him, for the they have been taught by the Father.

Example:  All rituals of mankind are wrong in the eyes of God.  Baptisms:  I've been taught by the Father.  I know that the only baptisms seen today, is of the Holy Ghost, which is Jesus Christ.  Water baptisms are not seen by the Father, yet, the world still baptizes with water.  Yet, I've met others who know what I know and we immediately become friends and how do I meet them, through God.  Not in any church will you find Gods true people.

There are as many if not more false prophets today, than in Jesus's time.  I know that they who follow God and not man, shall have the name and be called the new Jerusalem as which is spoken in Revelation 3; 12.  In other words, worldly relgions are wrong.

What I have just shared with you is not accepted in todays world, because the majority have been taught wrongly, by men who have followed the sins of the Father down through the ages.

The world believes in Global Warming.  I know God is trying to warn the world, that is wrath is round the corner, yet, the world ignores the truth, and continues living as always.

Elisha was laughed at and ridiculed as will any who read what I've just said, saying I'm a nut, yet, I care not.

For there are scriptues which say, that a time shall come that none shall be changed from their beliefs.  That time is now.

May God have mercy on our souls.

  6. That's exactly what He is saying. Jesus is God and God is Jesus. They are the same. Jesus is God in human form.

  7. Interpret? I don't think so. He is perfectly clear in what He means.

Why would the  disciples, Jesus' own personal companions, need so much comforting? It's as if they don't really know for sure if he is the Son of God?

It's because the Holy Spirit has not yet been given.

The prophesies are coming  coming true, but  are not yet fulfilled.

There is no way for them to know for sure if he really  is the promised Messiah prophesied about.
