Fulham defender, John Arne Riise feels that it would be a crushing blow to him and the Cottagers, if Fulham were to crash out of the Europa League.
The team is set to play host to Odense in a game that the teams needs to win the game, in hopes of ensuring their progress to the next round.
Fulham have been labelled as the favourites to win the game, but the defender is well aware of the fact that anything can happen in the match and is not looking forward to losing the game.
Riise, when expressing his concerns about the game is reported to have said:"I would be devastated if we didn't go through”
The player then admitted that he did not like to lose games, especially when his team is being considered to be amongst the favourites to win the tournament.
“I hate losing and I always try to win every game I play. Obviously that doesn't always happen, but tomorrow is a match we're favourites for and it would be quite hurtful not to go through.
Riise then admitted that it would have been a nicer feeling to have been a better position while going into the last game. However, he feels  the team can’t sit back and think about what could have happened and now need to focus on their upcoming challenge.
“We would have liked to have been in a better position going into the last game, but, at the same time, we have our destiny in our hands. If we win we're through and that's a nice feeling to have.”
Fulham have been performing really well this season and have been on a good run in the Premier League. The team went on to beat http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 recently and that just showed the potential that Fulham possess.
However, at the same time, Fulham have lost a number of games that they couldn’t afford to lose and this has put them in a slightly awkward position in the league and in the Europa League.
The team is now in the fourteenth spot in the Premier League, while they need to win their last game, in order to progress to the next round of the European competition.
Should the likes of Riise, Andy Johnson and Bobby http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zamora-c40983 produce a few good performances for the team and maintain their consistency, it is safe to say that we would see the team in the next round of the Europa League and see them climb up the Premier League
table.
