John Carroll High School announces schedule of 22nd Annual Golf Tournament – Golf News
John Carroll High School has announced the schedule of the 22nd Annual Golf Tournament, starting from April 21, 2012, at the Gator Trace Golf Course in Fort Pierce.
The institute is a non-profit school, with an aim to provide quality education to the less privileged children in St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River, Palm Beach and Okeechobee counties.
The purpose to hold the golf tournament is to collect the proceeds that will help in improving the education standards at the school. Moreover, it will serve as a quality sports event for the students in the area.
KFC of the Treasure Coast is the corporate sponsor for the event and Jacobus Orthodontics is the Tee/Green Sponsor.
The Event Chair, Jeff Shultz of Bill Schultz Chevrolet, has expressed his thanks to the sponsors and the teams who have registered for the event.
Moreover, he is looking for other teams and sponsors to take part in the charitable event that will help the school to foster character formation of the students.
He said that the sponsors will get special display of their banners and logos on the T-shirts, goodies and the school website, which will, in turn, increase the popularity of the sponsored brand.
Apart from the sponsors and players, the school management has also requested the volunteers to take part in the activity of holding an event that has always been a success for the last 22 years.
The volunteers will help the school management in organizing the event. They will be given different responsibilities, such as distributing goodies among the people, who will come to the course, managing the spectators and maintaining peace on the course.
According to the tournament officials, there will be an addition that will see the distribution of sporty T-shirts for just $20. They will be available at a separate stall on the course.
The registration fee set for the tournament is $100 per golfer. In return, they can win different prizes like Barnes & Noble Nook, iPod Nano, digital cameras and many other raffle prizes sponsored by the local businesses.
Overall, it will be a great treat for the local golf fans and the players who want to play in a competitive environment.
