John Cena and Chris Jericho vs. The Miz and Sheamus – Part 2
After part 1 of this article, we analyse the progress of the match as it countinued...
All the caos seen in part one of the match gave enough time to the Mix to gather his strength and attack Chris Jericho from behind. The Miz immediately knocked down Chris Jericho by immediately delivering a huge kick to his jaw. Chris Jericho was down and out and was entirely at the mercy of The Miz. The Miz showed no mercy as he ran in the ring to build up some momentum and kicked Chris Jericho in the abdomen.
The current United States Champion, The Miz then cornered Chris Jericho and delivered kicks to different parts of his body. The Miz and Sheamus then frequently tagged each other in, to keep a fresh man in the ring to beat the h**l out of Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho was used like a punching bag all over the ring by both The Miz and Sheamus.
Chris Jericho was badly beaten up and desperately in need of a tag from his partner. Chris Jericho tagged in John Cena who immediately entered the ring. On the other hand The Miz tagged Sheamus and now finally, two fresh men stood in the ring. John Cena quickly ran in the ring and knocked down Sheamus by ramming his shoulder into Sheamus’s chest. John Cena then picked Sheamus up in the air and slammed his back against the ring floor. That slam was followed by John Cena trademark move called the 5 knuckle shukkle in which John Cena drops a big punch to his opponent’s head.
John Cena was in great shape and it seemed as though it would take moments for John Cena to pin Sheamus and finish the match. But then the crowd watched in silence as Chris Jericho came from behind and delivered the Code Breaker on his own tag team partner, John Cena. Everyone was confused and astonished at this act by Chris Jericho. Meanwhile, Sheamus tagged The Miz to enter the ring and go for the cover. The referee counted to three with both shoulders of John Cena touching the ring floor and signaled the end of the match.
Chris Jericho allowed his ego to get the better of him and stabbed his own partner in the back. But Chris Jericho was not finished as he entered the ring again to trap John Cena in the Walls of Jericho. John Cena was screaming as he continued to suffer pain at the hands of Chris Jericho. Then the earth shook as the Great Khali entered the ring. The Great Khali tried to calm the situation as he spoke to John Cena and Chris Jericho. But as the Great Khali turned his back, the Rated – R, wrestling superstar, “Edge” delivered a devastating spear to his abdomen.
Then it was John Morrison and R – Truth who entered the ring to speak with their fellow wrestlers. There was absolute chaos in the ring as wrestlers argued with each other over who would be the captain of the team that would fight Nexus at Summer Slam. It seemed that the situation was on the verge of exploding, which is exactly what happened. The Great Khali raised his big right hand and delivered a huge chop to John Morrison’s head. John Morrison fell like a tree and went into an state of unconsciousness.
The big giant was still angry as he delivered another big chop to Edge as pay back. Wade Barrett was right and the prophecy had come true. Wade Barrett claimed that the RAW team would fight against one another and explode before Summer Slam. Perhaps RAW has lost the match even before the arrival of the Summer Slam. Nobody can be completely sure and cannot predict the future of RAW team. Perhaps it would be Wade Barrett and his Nexus group members who will rule the professional wrestling world in the weeks to come.
