John Cena injury update – WWE News
On Monday Night Raw SuperShow, Michael Cole entered the ring to invite John Cena via satellite. The session was held so that John Cena can let his fans know about his plans against John Laurinaitis for WWE Over the Limit. The Cenation leader appeared on the screen with an injured left arm, claiming that he would ‘kick Laurinaitis’ a*s’ at Over the Limit.
The session started with Michael Cole asking Cena about his injury updated. John Cena, who injured his arm after repeated submission moves and attacks on his arm by Brock Lesnar, said he is ready to fight. According to Cena, a group of doctors have recommended him not to compete for at least two months. However, the Fruit Pebbles superstar made it clear that no matter what happens, he will be there at Over the Limit to beat John Laurinaitis.
John Cena also notified that there are no permanent damages to his arm and he will soon recover. Michael Cole then asked Cena if he is ‘afraid’ of facing Laurinaitis in the ring. Cena replied saying that the Board of Directors are so fed up of Laurinaitis that they wanted to fire him. Cena added that he impeded them from taking any disciplinary actions against them, as he thinks that Laurinaitis’ punishment is to be beaten in the ring. Cena laughed when Michael Cole appreciated Laurinaitis’ ring achievements.
With a smirk, Cena said he indeed feels afraid of facing Laurinaitis, not because Laurinaitis can hurt but he fears the fact that Laurinaitis will hurt himself before the Cenation leader gets his hands on him.
At the end, John Cena promised his fans that he would whip Laurinaitis in front of everyone in the ring at WWE Over the Limit.
On the other hand, Brock Lesnar, Cena’s Extreme Rules opponent, has reportedly quit WWE. According to Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar’s representative, Brock Lesnar feels extremely disregarded. Paul Heyman read a letter from Brock Lesnar, which said that the WWE superstar was betrayed by the fans and by the WWE officials, especially Triple H for not honouring the commitments they had made with him.
