  1. That usually depends on how much the candidate pushes family values and places their beautiful families into the spotlight.  Edwards talked about family values a lot, so it will hurt him, especially.  Bill Clinton had an affair, and strangely, it seemed to help him.  (It got him press at a critical time during the Democratic primary.) McCain's affair was years ago, and it helps that he married the woman.

It's nice to have so many "normal" affairs to speak of instead of the Mark Foley and that Ohio guy.

  2. PLEASE DO NOT BE OFFENDED BY MY CAPS.... MY CAPS KEY IS STUCK....

WITH THAT OUT OF THE WAY, IF YOU WERE TO TAKE ANY POLITICIAN AND DISQUALIFY THEM DUE TO AN AFFAIR, YOU MIGHT AS WELL WIPE OUT HALF THE SENATE, GOVERNORS, (BEING g*y AS WELL FOR THAT MATTER) AND HOUSE OF REP.S, AND HALF THE PRESIDENTS IN HISTORY... LOOK AT CLINTONS.... KENNEDY... ADAMS... WASHINGTON... ETC... SO EDWARDS SHOULDN'T  BE LOOKED AS AN OUTCAST... HE ACTUALLY FITS RIGHT IN WITH OUR POLITICAL LEADERS!!!

  3. Who said Edwards's career is over?  He certainly is not going to be a factor this time around but I am quite confident that he will be greasing around in the future for some time.
