Question:

John Force at the Coca-Cola 600?

i just saw john force, my favorite nhra funny car driver (although his daughter ashley is pretty hot lately, in more ways than one ;-) on "Nascar Live." they asked what he was doing there and he said bruton had asked him to come out and check out the progress on the new superstrip they are building there in concord.

but more interesting, he said they brought out one of his funny cars and before the race tomorrow, they're supposed to take it out on the track and give the nascar fans a little taste (and smell) of nhra racing.

what do people here think about having an nhra driver - especially a 14-time champion like force - come do a "real burnout" and bring the "thunder and lightning" of nhra to a nascar track before the 600? any other nhra fans amongst us?

man i wish i could be there tomorrow...

  1. It ought to be a sight to be seen. In 2004 when me and my wife went to the spring Bristol race and Tony Schumacher had his top fuel dragster before the race started at the start finish line and cranked it up, he didn't burnout but he revved it up so high it blew up. Can you imagine a Top Fuel car rumbling in Bristol, its loud enough with 43 cars but we was sitting in turn 1 and it shook the seats! I kid you not. I had goose bumps for 10 minutes after that.

You know Im a NHRA fan!

  2. That's a great way to expose Nascar fans to drag racing. I'd like to see Force pull off a donut during a burnout. lol

  3. I think it would be great, and it's awesome to know that John Force is a fan of NASCAR. I used to love that show with his family called "Driving Force" but I guess it got taken off the air. It was really funny and plus you got to see his daughters on there a lot lol

  4. Sounds cool... and it being MEMORIAL DAY weekend??....

It's good to know that ''The Force will be with you'' !!!

    GO !! KENSETH !!

  5. Man, I would love to be there!  What better way to promote the "brotherhood" of racing.  Glad to see he's healing up.  Doing a burnout would be kool.

    Go Jr.>>>
