Question:

John Golden Theatre, NYC - where are the obstructed views?

I am trying to buy tickets to Avenue Q in NYC at John Golden Theatre. No matter what I do (I even called the theatre) I cannot find out what seats are considered "obstructed" or "limited" view seats. When I call the theatre, they want me to buy through them and won't tell me where the obstructions are. I want to buy the tickets through a cheap online venue. I am looking at row A, seats 105-111 in the balcony or row O, seats 105-111 in the Orchestra. Any ideas where I should stay away from in this theatre? Thanks!

  1. Any seat that are located toward the center of the theatre sections (or almost any seats for that matter) will be fine.  The Golden Theatre is very small (in comparison to other Broadway houses).  Be sure to get a seating chart when you place your order for tickets so you can locate the location of your seats.  Playbill.com supplies seating charts for all Broadway houses.  Enjoy Avenue Q, it's a fun show!
