John Harbaugh denies game with brother’s 49ers on his mind – NFL News
Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh has denied that the San Francisco game, which is to be played in the week after next week troubles him.
He said that he was focused only on the Cincinnati Bengals game to be played on next Sunday. Ravens are hosting Bengals in one of their crucial ties of the current season of the American premier football league, National Football
League (NFL) this weekend.
John Harbaugh brother Jim Harbaugh is coach of the San Francisco 49ers and the reports have suggested that the Ravens coach was already looking forward to the game he was up against his brother in the NFL weeks 12.
He however denied theses suggestions and said that he was only focused to the upcoming game against Bengals this week and would think of other games after that.
"This week is Cincinnati," John Harbaugh said. "Next week will be whoever we play next week, whenever we play them. But this week is Cincinnati. Absolutely."
He said that the weekend's game was very important for them. Both Ravens and Bengals are lagging behind 6-3 their division leader Pittsburgh Steelers 7-3 in their American Football Conference division. Both the teams will try their
best to go one to match the lead with the Steelers.
"There is nothing comfortable about what we are up against," John said. "It's going to be a fight. It's a team that we know, a team that we understand, and it's going to be a tough ballgame."
Ravens current season has been on and off with less predictability. They have won against some big teams such as Steelers and New York Jets and lost against lightweights likes of Jacksonville Jaguars and Seattle Seahawks.
A tight game is expected between the on the weekend, given the fact that both of them are in same circumstances. However, Ravens surprise wins and losses are keep punters at the bay to give a final word about them. Both teams are
at the same level of their game and same level of their position in the league and only Sunday will determine which of them leads with the Steelers.
