John Isner has signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with Ebix Inc. according to a statement on the company’s website.
Isner, who is at the 10th position in the South African Airways ATP Rankings, is the second best player on the ATP World Tour this season. On the other hand, Ebix was one of the fastest growing companies at the Fortune in 2011.
President & CEO of Ebix, Robin Raina, announced the signing of contract and said, “We are excited to have John as an Ebix ambassador," said Robin Raina, President & Chief Executive Officer of Ebix. "He is one of the most talented
and popular players on the ATP circuit, and he personifies the same winning attributes – such as persistence, passion and performance – that make Ebix the leading provider of insurance software services around the world."
Ebix caters to the demands of insurance industry, being one of the leading multinational companies who supply On-Demand software and E-commerce services to them.
Isner said, "I am really excited to align with a global services brand such as Ebix," said Isner. "I look forward to a very successful partnership with Ebix and to build on the momentum I've gained this year."
According to the contract, Isner will partner the company for engaging the customers both on and off the court. Moreover, he will put on the logo of the brand on the right sleeve of his t-shirt, while playing matches. Ebix will
be the main sponsor for the charity event organized by Isner annually in North Carolina.
Isner has performed exceptionally well in the last 10 months, grabbing a couple of ATP World Tour titles and finishing runner up on one occasion towards the end of the 2011 circuit. The American has continued with his great run
of form in this season, as he stunned 16-time Grand Slam winner, Roger Federer, at the Davis Cup and reigning world number one, Novak Djokovic, at the BNP Paribas Open. He has also lead USA to the semi-finals of the Davis Cup, winning both of his singles matches
against France in the quarter-finals last month.
