The Breda outfit suffered a 4-0 defeat at the hands of d**k Advocaat’s men on Eredivisie matchday eight, and the former Newcastle United goalkeeper was upset with his side’s poor performance.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/NAC-Breda-c39983 head coach, John Karelse, was extremely disappointed with his side’s 4-0 defeat against PSV Eindhoven at Philips Stadion on Sunday, October 7.
The 42-year-old tactician admitted that his side failed to assert their authority on the pitch, and heaped praise on the Eindhoven giants’ dominating display throughout the 90 minutes.
“We simply didn’t do enough today. PSV pinned us back in our own half right from the start, and didn’t let us build play from the back. We were therefore unable to play our own game. They forced us to play long balls, and we simply lack the quality and length
for that type of game”, Karelse was quoted as saying to media representatives in the post-match press conference.

After the half-time break, the home side continued to assert their authority, and managed to extend their lead further in the 56th minute through http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mark-van-Bommel-c24148, while Georginio Wijnaldum’s strike put the match to bed five minutes before the
full time whistle.
The NAC boss revealed that PSV’s second goal just before the half-time interval killed off the game, though, he tried his level best to turn things around.
“The second goal effectively killed the game off. You enter the dressing-room in a completely different spirit. I tried to turn things around by making two substitutions, but the 3-0 ended our aspirations of getting a good result for good. Overall, I can
only say that PSV put in a good performance and that they deserved their win,” Karelse concluded.
