I mean if the coldest winter in China in over 100 years counts as 'Weather' then doesn't something like tornados? If snow in Bagdad counts as weather, then don't the tornados?

  1. I didn't realize that John Kerry was a climate scientist.

  2. Global warming is crock anyways, yes the earth is warming but not because of car and hairsprays. The hottest time on earth was in the Mideval times. The earth warmed and the ice age ended and there were no cars then. It's just a natural cycle of the earth. A tornado is just a clash of cold air coming in contact with hot air and making the cyclone, theyve been around forever, I think it is just weather. More scientists proved against global warming (for the car thing) than scientists who said it is true, the govt wants to scare us into recycling, which recycling is a great thing.

  3. And to think our country is being run by these kind of people.

  4. I think John Kerry would tell you that the debate on global warming is over and they won so that means he can blame global warming for pretty much anything.

  5. Like I've said before this board is dominated by those who don't believe in it so take with grain of salt.

I don't think it's very responsible to take individual occurances like a few tornados and blame it on global warming.  and I do think we are causing global warming.  It's just not good reasoning to start blaming everything on it.  After all there have always been tornados.. Having said that, I do believe we will see extremes in weather over the coming dedades.

  6. Excellent point.  Of course, Kerry is a lawyer, not a scientist, so he should be expected to use what ever argument he thinks will best support his case, even if he knows it's a lie.

  7. Weather is variable, it doesn't matter if global warming is occurring or not.  You might as well say that the record cold temperatures are caused by global warming.  After a few hundred years it the temperature is still getting warmer, we should talk about possible causes.

  8. Yes

Edit:  The person above me deserves best answer.

  9. Ninety five percent of scientists agree that global warming is a fact. Ninety five percent of politicians believe global warming is a scam. Once again ignorance to the rescue! Yeeeeeeeessssssss!

  10. Local weather is a part of climate.

Do you actually trust polititians to know what theyre talking about? Someone makes his speeches for him.
